General Chemistry (CHE4A)

I took this class Winter Quarter of 2023 at UC Davis with Professor Bill McCurdy. This class is general chemistry for chemistry and chemical engineering majors. The contents of the class focused on physical chemistry, hydrogen bonding, and quantum mechanics.

As my first “real” chemistry class ever, I had a lot of fun learning about this subject. The class assignments consisted of a weekly problem set, a weekly lab report, 2 midterm exams, and one final exam. My favorite part was thinking through the problem sets as they were usually very abstract and difficult questions to work through compared to what showed up on our exams.

Posted on this page are links to notes and personal summaries of the topics that were covered in this class.
